My Approach & Philosophy:

Known for making big ideas accessible, I see myself as a teacher and a coach. I teach life-changing theories, concepts and practices about human psychology, habits and behaviour, the nervous system, trauma, personal development (and so much more!). I then coach individuals to support them in integrating and applying those teachings into their lives, because that’s where the positive change happens.

I believe in equipping my clients with the practical tools enabling them to self-coach themselves and stay resilient to challenges they might encounter like procrastination, lack of confidence, stress and self-doubt. My signature coaching style takes a holistic and integrative approach combining positive psychology, habit building and cognitive behavioral coaching with a trauma informed nervous system approach.

You won’t see any toxic wellbeing, perfectionistic self-improvement or unproven woo-woo here. I aim to bring a refreshing, realistic and evidence based approach to wellness, productivity, mindset and success coaching. Personal growth doesn’t have to be about miserably hustling and restricting ourselves until we reach a goal. I believe this self-work is about learning to find fun in the process and how to enjoy the everyday moments of your  life whilst being unapologetically yourself.

Let me show you how…

What my coaching

focuses on & why:

Self-concept

Improving your self-concept is critical to unlocking your full potential and living a fulfilling life. When you cultivate self-trust, self-belief, confidence, and self-worth, you can overcome self-doubt, achieve your goals, and live with greater authenticity and joy.

Habits & Strategies

Discovering and developing positive behavioural habits that nourish you as an invidual and support your goals is essential for achieving success and fulfillment. By incorporating mindfulness practices, habit stacking, productivity tools and strategies, mindset management, and emotional intelligence, you can cultivate a growth-oriented mindset, create sustainable change, increase your productivity and achieve your goals with greater ease and enjoyment.

Self-understanding

& awareness

Creating a deeper understanding of yourself enables you to gain greater self-awareness and know why you do, think, or feel certain things. Self-discovery involves exploring your values, beliefs, personality traits and life experiences so that you can identify your strengths, areas for growth and cultivate a more authentic and fulfilling life that aligns with your true self.

Resilience & Regulation

Improving your resilience and self-regulation is crucial for navigating life's challenges with grace and ease. When you develop a greater tolerance to stress, understand your nervous system, and learn practical tools and techniques, you can improve your overall wellbeing, enhance your relationships, and achieve your goals with greater confidence and clarity.

My story &

Background

Discovering I have adult ADHD in my thirties has been one of the most validating and positively life-enhancing experiences of my life. The level of self-understanding and self-acceptance it has given me has boosted my confidence in every area of my life and work. I am now able to better utilise my strengths and navigate the challenges that come with being neurodivergent without allowing them to define me.

But it wasn’t always this way for me…

Undiagnosed and unaware, my mental health and self-confidence spiraled from a teenager. At my best I was coasting through life, always just about getting by in exams and doing ‘okay’ when the pressure came on. At my worst, I used to be so overwhelmed and exhausted that I spent up to 20 hours a day in bed. Lost. Stuck. Hopeless. And in the worst moments, suicidal. So disconnected from myself, my feelings and my body that I struggled to engage with my day to day, let alone make the most of them. I felt like life and opportunities were passing me by, and they were. Thoughts about not being good enough, fears of things going wrong and not knowing how to change these things kept me trapped in a cycle of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and inaction for over a decade. When I hit rock bottom (for the hundredth time) I knew that something had to change…

I’ve spent the last 10 years learning everything I can about human psychology, coaching and wellbeing techniques and personal development. I turned my life around through learning how to understand, coach and support myself which ignited a passion of wanting to help others do the same. I tried therapy, coaching, and spent hundreds of hours watching Youtube videos, Ted Talks, and wading through (often really boring and cringey) self-help books that never seemed to get to the point of telling you HOW to change your life or feelings.

It was a slow and frustrating process, but I slowly transformed my mental health and confidence. I no longer let opportunities or time pass me. I started living as the (for want of a better word) BEST version of myself. Not perfect, but able to utilize my strengths instead of being defined by my weaknesses, find joy in my every day, achieve hard goals outside of my comfort zone, be kind to myself and reach my full potential (and forgive myself on the days that I don’t).

Understanding myself more and knowing why I behaved, thought and felt the way I did, and learning the skills to manage them, ultimately saved my life. Since I turned things around for myself in my early twenties, I couldn’t shake the question: Why weren’t we taught this stuff in school? A fire within me was lit. Since then my mission in life and work has been to empower people to take control of their life and now to embrace their neurodiversity whilst challenging toxic perfectionism within self-improvement culture.

Over the last eight years I’ve worked as a Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Practitioner, trained and certified as a Life Coach and founded the self-discovery school and podcast The Curiosity Club which has over 26,000 downloads to date.

I’m forever a work-in-progress, just like everyone else. But coaching and understanding my unique mind and inner workings enables me to embrace my humaness and enjoy life.

Do you want me to help you do the same?
